My husband and I decided to hire Knit Together Maternity Care to assist with our home birth for our first baby. Katy and Lynn were an absolute dream to work with and from day one they were professional, kind, and shared in excitement for my pregnancy.

Katy and Lynn made me feel cared for and comfortable at every prenatal appointment and always took the time to answer my pregnancy related questions. They genuinely cared for me, my husband, and our sweet baby girl and it showed in the way they performed care in the months leading up to our home birth.

Our at home birth was beautiful and I felt at ease knowing that Katy and Lynn were caring for my baby and me during the delivery and in the weeks afterwards. I loved getting to work with these sweet midwives. I highly recommend Knit Together Maternity Care to all expecting mommas!

Deciding to have a home birth for my first baby was both super exciting and nerve-wracking. I knew I wanted to know and trust the people in my birth space and from my first meeting with Katy and Lynn I felt and overwhelming calmness and confidence in the wonderful women who were going to help me birth my baby. In a world that's all but lost the sacredness between care providers and patients, I am most grateful for the intentional and unrushed nature of their care. They are tender, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. I have no doubt that my birth (while not without its complications) would not have been the empowering and amazing experience without the care of these women.

Lynn was so kind and supportive during the complex birth of my twins. Her calming presence helped me (and even my nurses!) through some intense moments before my emergency c-section. She also helped advocate for me when I had a sensitive decision to make and was nervous to speak up for myself. Besides being knowledgeable and kind, I would say one of the most valuable traits of a birth partner is knowing when (and how much!) to interject and she truly has this gift. I felt supported and heard the entire time. 10/10. I would never want to have another birth without her!

We had the pleasure of having Katy as our midwife for both our children. Katy is such a blessing to our family. During the prenatal appointments, we became a great friends. With my first, my labor ended up being about 3 days she stayed with me and my husband encouraging us every step of the way. She made us feel confident in the delivery process and when our little one finally came we rejoiced together. Any time I speak about my pregnancy I always tell them about our amazing midwife Katy.
